On Tuesday, November 22nd, members of the St George Serbian Orthodox Church school went to Colonial Lanes for an evening of fun, food, and fellowship. The students arrived in the late-afternoon, laced up their bowling shoes, selected their bowling balls, and sent them down the lanes.
Student Luka K. was the evening’s most consistent “strike” getter, but even those who managed to knock down a few meager pins managed to have great time. Fr Aleksa and Popadija Emily joined in the fun along with 12 of our students, and parent chaperones Vicki Becherucci and Lindsay Moretta. The youngest bowlers, Blaize M. and Milana P., managed to knock quite a few pins down with the assistance of a ramp and bumpers.
As a final event before the Nativity Fast, the students enjoyed a feast of hot dogs, pizza and chicken fingers. Thanks to all who helped make this event possible!
