Our call to Divine Liturgy is a call to common work – to offer praise and thanksgiving to God, through His son Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit. One of the most noticeable ways to do that on during our Sunday services is by singing! Although we have a wonderful choir, their role is to lead us in song – not sing for us, like a performance. In order to help our children in church engage musically, we have a junior choir to help them.
- Learn the music
- Feel confident to sing where they stand
- Prepare them for chanting during special services
- Help them transition to singing in the choir
Practice session begins on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 and will be held every other week throughout the year indefinitely. Please check the church calendar for future dates and times. The sessions will be co-taught by Fr. Aleksa and Protinica Emily, and will be fun, active, and engaging.
We hope to see many of our youth there!
(Parents are also invited to join the fun and learn as well – singing is part of our gift to God, and our Sunday offering!)
